Youngsters can explore the world of music

ANKENY, Iowa (April 5, 2012) - Let’s Make Music is a six-week class for children ages 4-5 years old to interact with others children through listening, singing and moving to music. Accompanied by a parent, children will explore rhythm through chanting, clapping and instrumental playing.

The class is from 6-6:45 on Mondays starting May 14 through June 25. There will be no class on Monday, May 28. Classes are held at the Lakeside Center, 400 NW Lakeshore Drive.

The registration fee is $25 for residents and $30 for non-residents and the registration deadline is April 30. Registration is available online or at the Parks and Recreation office, 210 South Ankeny Blvd. Deadline to register is April 24.
