Get a team together for adult softball league play

ANKENY, Iowa (March 15, 2012) -Batter up! Ankeny Parks and Recreation will be offering Spring Softball for adults. An ASA officiated league offers play in Men’s A on Monday nights, Men’s B on Mondays or Tuesdays, Men’s C on Wednesday and Coed A on Thursdays.

League play begins the week of April 8. The team fee is $360 and the standard $10 non-resident fee will apply. The registration deadline is March 21; leagues will be filled on a first paid, first served basis.

Each session offers twelve games of play, plus a season ending tournament. Teams must register by mail or in person at the Parks & Recreation office located at 210 South Ankeny Blvd. Due to this being a team registration event, online registration is not available.
