Casey's donates $25,000 to Miracle Park Project

ANKENY, Iowa (June 14, 2012) - Casey’s General Stores, Inc. has announced a $25,000 contribution to Ankeny’s Miracle League Field and All-Inclusive Playground Project.

“We are excited about the opportunity to be part of such a worthwhile project,” said Casey’s President and CEO Robert J. Myers.

With this generous contribution, the project has raised over $650,000 towards a $1 million goal.

About the Ankeny Miracle Field and All-Inclusive Playground Project
The project, geared for youth and families with special needs, will be the first of its kind in Iowa. The Ankeny Miracle Park Project consists of a rubberized ball field and playground co-located together in Hawkeye Park aimed for children with disabilities to enjoy participating in an organized baseball league and play on a playground that is accessible to their needs. The Project is being led by the Ankeny Kiwanis Club and City of Ankeny.
