NW 18th Street is closed between NW Irvinedale Drive and NW Boulder Ridge Lane, for repairs to the span wire traffic signal at the Irvinedale Drive intersection. The wood pole supporting the traffic signal in the southwest corner was broken in a crash this morning, and the pole and attached cables must be removed immediately for the safety of the public. All-way STOP control has been implemented at the intersection until a new pole can be installed and the cables re-attached. This repair work is expected to be completed on Friday, Feb. 17, pending acceptable weather conditions.
