City of Ankeny Launches New Utility Billing Payment Portal

The City of Ankeny is pleased to announce it launched a new and improved online bill pay service powered by InvoiceCloud for its utility customers today. With simple and secure navigation, customers can now pay the way that’s most convenient - online, by text, or by phone anytime 24/7. There is also an option to receive email reminders when a payment is due and a confirmation after making a payment.

Ankeny utility customers should visit the payment portal at to create an account, sign up for pay by text, automatic payments, or paperless billing.

As part of this change, current AutoPay customers will need to re-register with the new payment portal to continue payments. Visit the Payment Portal at to create an account and re-register. Customers will need their account number to re-register; find it on a past bill or call our office to help you. Please note, if current auto-pay is scheduled for Dec. 12, 2023 or later, the payment will not be processed. Customers must re-register through the new payment portal.

If you have any questions regarding the new payment service, please visit the FAQ on our website at
