To vote absentee, download and complete the Polk County Auditor's Official Absentee Ballot Request Form (PDF).

Completed forms need to be sent to the Polk County Auditor Office at 120 2nd Avenue Des Moines, IA 50309

2. Where can I register to vote?

Register to vote or update your voter registration online using your Iowa driver's license or ID number. You will receive your voter registration card from your county auditor within two weeks.
