2. Before Submitting a Request

   Has it been more than 24 hours since snowfall ended? Please give our crew time to get all city streets cleared. Please keep in mind that cul-de-sacs, knuckle-sacs and roundabouts often require specialized equipment to clear and with 400+ throughout the city at approximately 15 minutes to clear each, it does take some time. We appreciate your patience.

   Cul-de-sac clearing process:

   • Plow trucks will initially clear a path around the outside of the cul-de-sac.
   • Depending on the amount of accumulation, another truck may arrive later to complete snow removal in the bulb of the cul-de-sac.
   • In the event of lighter snowfall, the center of the cul-de-sac may not be cleared.
   • When cul-de-sacs are cleared the snow may be pushed up and over the sidewalk. (If this is necessary, the property owner is not expected to clear this piled snow off the sidewalk.)
