About the Outdoor Education Center

• This is a four-season, 1,200 square feet rental facility for up to 50 people. 
• Includes an open-air shelter with picnic tables.

Reservations

• Reservations are taken up to one year in advance.
• To check availability of the facility and to make a reservation, call Parks & Recreation at 515-963-3570 or stop by the office at 1210 NW Prairie Ridge Drive. 

Rates

• Available between 9 a.m. - midnight
  • Residents: $34/hour (6 hour minimum)
  • Nonresidents: $51/hour (6 hour minimum)

To qualify for the resident rate, the renter must provide a copy of their driver's license. The host, hostess, or guest of honor must reside within the City of Ankeny at the time of application as well as the time of the event to receive the Ankeny resident rate.
