Career
Dustin Graber is serving his first term on the Ankeny City Council. He was appointed to fill the vacant council seat left by former council member and current Mayor Bobbi Bentz in January 2025.
As a lifelong Iowan and proud resident of Ankeny since 2009, Dustin is honored to now serve our growing community on the Ankeny City Council. Previously, he had the privilege of serving on the Ankeny School Board from 2011 to 2019 in addition to being a commissioner and serving as an active volunteer in many worthwhile and rewarding capacities. Currently, he works as an Oncology Area Manager for a biotechnology company, dedicated to contributing to the fight against cancer.
Dustin, along with his wife, Sonya, chose to move here to raise their four children, drawn by Ankeny's exceptional schools, welcoming neighbors, and the safe, well-maintained environment that our city offers.
In his role as councilman, Dustin is committed to listening to the voices of our community members and addressing their concerns with thoughtful and effective solutions. He firmly believe in the power of collaboration and open dialogue to drive positive change and enhance the quality of life for all Ankeny residents.
With a strong focus on serving the best interests of our community, he is dedicated to ensuring that Ankeny remains a wonderful place to live, work, play, and raise a family. Dustin looks forward to working with you and for you to continue making Ankeny a place we can all be proud to call home.
