Lt. Brian Kroska started his career in law enforcement with the Oskaloosa Police Department in 2001 before coming to the City of Ankeny in 2003. He has a bachelor's degree from Bellevue University in Criminal Justice and a master's degree from Drake University in Public Administration. Lt. Kroska is currently assigned as the support services lieutenant overseeing the criminal investigative division. He has also served as a patrol lieutenant, patrol sergeant, detective, and patrol officer. He has training as a use of force instructor, Taser instructor, field training officer, and collision reconstructionist.
