The City of Ankeny Park Board invites the community to the Centennial Park Dedication and Ice Cream Social Tuesday, May 31, from 5:30 – 7 p.m. at 2202 NW Reinhart Drive.
Located on the northwest side of Ankeny, Centennial Park features playground equipment, a basketball court, picnic shelter and tables, walking/biking trails, green space and a parking lot. The picnic shelter is available for private rental. Reservations can be made online at www.ankenyiowa.gov/shelter.
Ice Cream Socials
The Ankeny Park Board will be hosting two additional ice cream socials this summer. The socials will provide an opportunity for Ankeny families to enjoy a fun evening at the park and get to know members of the Ankeny Park Board and Parks & Recreation staff. Games for kids will also be part of the festivities.
