Metro North Business Park
Metro North Business Park (PDF) is home to corporate headquarters, major manufacturers and bioscience operations, among others. The Park has over 150 acres of shovel-ready and developable sites and available building space. It is located along Interstate 35 at the Oralabor Road exit and is located immediately across the freeway from a thriving retail area. The park is home to office park amenities such as hotels, childcare center, restaurants, and walking trails.
Corporate Woods Business Park
The Corporate Woods Business Park (PDF) has a great location adjacent to the Corporate Woods Drive interchange on I-35, just north of I-80 and adjacent to the Ankeny Regional Airport with its 5,500-foot primary runway accommodating corporate aircraft and freight delivery traffic. The park has over 60 acres of developable property. The north side of the Park has about 25 acres of platted, shovel-ready sites. Available uses can include office, flex, and retail/services.
LGI Business & Science Park
The Lauridsen Group Incorporated (LGI) developed this business and science park (PDF). Nearly 10 shovel-ready acres remain available for development. Access to Interstate 35 is easy with its location one-half mile from Interchange 92 on Oralabor Road.
Crosswinds Business Park
Crosswinds Business Park (PDF) is a 450-acre business park located at the intersection of Interstates 35 and 80. The Corporate Woods Drive Interchange provides immediate access for businesses to the interstates that connect the east and west coasts and the borders with Canada and Mexico. New infrastructure for light industrial, warehouse and flex uses has been installed and serves nearly 200 acres of shovel ready property.
Vintage Business Park at Prairie Trail
The Vintage Business Park at Prairie Trail (PDF) is a 65-acre mixed use park in the northwest part of the Prairie Trail development. Nearly 42 acres are currently available. The Park is in the master-planned Prairie Trail development, adjacent to the John Deere Des Moines Works facility and across the street from the first new urbanist neighborhood in Prairie Trail. The central campus of Des Moines Area Community College is one-half mile from the park.
36th Street Interchange - Otter Creek Business Park
This development area (PDF) encompasses the approximately 260 acres on the east side of the interchange and on the north and south sides of NE 36th Street. The master planning and PUD process is underway. Planned uses for the area include Flex (including heavier commercial and light industrial), Office, Commercial and Residential.
