Makerspace

Located on the second level of the library near the young adult collection, our makerspace is a place for you to get creative. We offer a variety of tools for patrons to create, imagine, and flourish.

Guidelines

  • You are strongly encouraged to schedule a training with Makerspace equipment. Staff assistance is not guaranteed at all times. There are instruction manual at each station.  
  • After training is complete, you are able to reserve the stations you've been trained on using the link below.
  • All users must follow the library's Makerspace Policy.
  • Anyone under 14 must be supervised by an adult.
  • Users are allowed to use a station for up to 2 hours per day. If available, usage can be extended by staff.
  • You must provide your own supplies, such as thumb drives, shirts, vinyl, mugs, etc.

The library has the following equipment available:

Cricut & Sublimation Printer

Cricut Explore Air 2 machine, Epson Ink Jet printer with sublimation ink,  EasyPress 12" x 10", EasyPress Mini, Hat Press and Mug Press are available. 12" x 12" and 12" x 24" mats in light, standard and strong grip are provided. Must provide your own paper, vinyl, mug, fabric, hat, etc.

Photo Scanning/Audio Conversion

Scan photographs, negatives, slides and more. Can also convert record albums and cassette tapes to a digital format. Must provide a flash drive or DVD or may purchase from the library. Conversion time takes the length of the album/tape.

Video Conversion

Convert VHS, 8mm reel-to-reel, and Super 8 reel-to-reel video to a digital format. Must provide a flash drive or DVD or may purchase from the library. Conversion times takes the length of the video.
